I graduated from Stillwater Area High School in 2004.
I then went on to graduate with a Psychology degree from the University of Minnesota. There, I did an internship with the Lovaas Institute working with young children with Autism.
I did my senior thesis on Applied Behavior Analysis and children with Autism.
I have a Master's Degree in elementary education from Montana State University-Billings.
I did my graduate practicum in 4th grade at Broadwater Elementary.
I completed my student teaching in 4th grade at Beartooth Elementary.
My Life
I was born and raised in Minnesota, and moved to Montana five years ago after visiting some family and falling in love with this beautiful state.
I now live in Billings with my husband, Greg, our four-year-old-daughter, Ava, our two-year-old daughter Addison, and our black lab Cash.
We like to spend our time together exercising, hiking, camping, boating, playing, or watching sports.
I like to spend my free time reading, running, or hanging with Cash, Addy, & Ava.
I'm a big sports fan! While I root for all Minnesota sports teams, my husband likes to cheer for all Colorado-based teams. I forgive him.
Oh, and since I'm from Minnesota, I love hockey. A lot. Many of my inspirational quotes come from Herb Brooks, coach of the 1980 Miracle on Ice team (he was also the coach of my college hockey team before he was an Olympic coach).
